Sadly, the first day of Black History Month is marked by a loss of one of our biggest icons.

According to the press, Don Cornelius, creator of  “Soul Train,” was found shot dead in his Los Angeles home on Wednesday morning. Authorities are investigating to determine if his death was a suicide.
