Squeezing Out 12 Ideas.
Writing headlines.
Creating contests.
Developing event names.
Those are the little things that can turn into a big writing chore during the course of my day.
I never turn in the first idea that pops into my head. That's a rule. You never know it's the best idea until you have something to compare it to.
That's why I write a minimum of 12 lines.
Twelve is not a magic number. I just feel like I've exhausted every possible direction by the time I get to that number. It's like squeezing the last drop from the tube of toothpaste. Don't apply to just copywriting. Apply to everything you do.
Never settle on your first thought.
Something better may be right behind it... or 11th or 12th in line.
