Summit Shares Your Great Ideas To Do Some Good.

The 2011 Social Good Summit  is unlike a lot of technology summits. They are more of a goodwill gesture, using advancements to help better the world. If you can't be a part of the live audience in NYC during UN week, September 19-22, thousands around the world can join in via Livestream.

What's good about this event is that you can see ways of using your particular skills that don't involve working in an agency.

People I'd like to see:

Ronit Avni, Founder of Just Vision (For peace in the Middle East)

Asi Burak, Co-President, Games of Change (For games that educate, as well as entertain)

Geena Davis, Founder of Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media (For creating opportunities for girls and women in media)

Nancy Lublin, CEO of Do Something (For promoting volunteerism to youth)
