Keeping Up With Information Overload.
Blogs.
Websites.
E-blasts.
I read as much as I can, but I can't read it all. Nor can I read everything I want in a day.
So I stopped trying.
Instead of feeling like a Bing commercial and cram it all in, I do it in increments. Meaning, each day I try to read a different batch of news sources, but I rarely read the same ones daily. (Not everyone posts new content daily anyway.) So day one may be favorite blogs. Day two is for gaming websites. Day three may be experiential sites, etc. You can catch up on daily pubs quickly like Ad Age and Adweek by reading them once a week. (In fact, I often save the online issues for Friday reading.)
It's important to read everyday. Organize it in a way where you can learn everyday.
