Is It Guerrilla Or Promotional Terrorism?

Guerrilla work in other countries really intrigue me. I'm amazed and inspired by how far they can push the envelope. Take the Pink Squad for example:

While most insurance companies look out for the responsible drivers in the world, Union Insurance is targeting the irresponsible in Slovakia. There they’ve unleashed The Pink Squad, masked vigilantes (in pink, of course), who seek out and punish the most arrogant and careless of those behind the wheel.

In this guerrilla campaign, The Pink Squad members actually roam the streets and dole out punishments that include trapping vehicles with pink flower boxes, filling illegally parked cars with ping pong balls, booting cars with pink booties, and covering vehicles with plungers—all of this leading to a “Weekend Without Accidents” campaign.

Sometimes I am amazed at the tolerance level of some cultures, but it really allows one to push some campaigns to extremes. The Pink Squad, instead, garnered over a million page views and over 80,000 Facebook fans. I live in Chicago, a direct import from Detroit. In either city, stunts like this may drive The Pink Squad to needing life insurance.
