Who's Schooling Me Now.

We all do a little cleaning for the new year, so I decided to clean up my blogroll a bit and update it with sites I recently discovered.
The Gamification Blog. Gabe Zichermann was one of the organizers of the first Gamification Summit last week and one of the louder voices promoting game mechanics to build brands. I started following him after reading Game-Based Marketing: Inspire Customer Loyalty Through Rewards, Challenges and Contests last year, which he co-authored with Joselin Linder. I recommend you do the same – follow Gabe and read Game.
Jane McGonigal. A speaker at the summit, McGonigal is a game designer who believes games can do more than build brands – they can make the world better. Her book, Reality Is Broken: Why Games Make Us Better and How They Can Change the World, is making me a believer. Look for my review soon on Book Learnin' Fridays.
Gen Wow. Rick Mathieson is another author who is making the gears click in my head with his book The On-Demand Brand: 10 Rules for Digital Marketing Success in an Anytime, Everywhere World. Now you can go beyond the book with his Gen Wow blog.

Live Communication. Juan Pablo Sanchez finds some of the coolest guerrilla stuff around the globe.
TED. Ideas Worth Spreading. So true.
Creatosity. Come here for "creativity, innovation and ideas for building a better business."
Beneath The Brand and Beyond Madison Avenue are blogs on Talent Zoo with posts written by multiple writers, including me. Both are good for commentary and uncovering overlooked golden nuggets.
There's always room for more on my blogroll. Who's been schooling you lately?
