I Could Not Justify An iPad.

I thought the iPad was my Red Ryder BB Gun. All I could think was: "You'll shoot a hole in your budget, kid." So I opted for something better suited for my needs - Amazon Kindle. I confessed in the past that I am a book-aholic. I didn't realize how bad I was until I relocated to Chicago.

I had tons of books. I refused to move them all. So I went e-reader. It's been a week and I think I'm hooked. Kindle surfs the Web, not in color, but I have a laptop for that, and the electronic ink is great for reading – very easy on the eyes (and budget at $139). Potentially, I have a 3,500-book library in the Kindle and it's lighter than a paperback. And for all of you purists, who like the feel of a book in your hand, you'll get over it. I will never move boxes of books again. Speaking of books, some of my first purchases include marketing books on my reading list, such as The On-Demand Brand by Rick Mathieson. I'll let you know what I think. I owe you a book review or two.
